Living Japanese
I would be delighted to help you to learn Japanese and practise speaking, listening, reading and writing the language.
The course is suitable for beginners to intermediate and will explore Japanese culture as well as the language.
We can discuss everything from imperial history to manga; art and calligraphy to karaoke; tea ceremonies to sushi; origami. Together we will work on vocabulary and pronunciation so that you can use Japanese independently to talk about the subjects that interest you.
When: every Monday (starting on Monday 20th April 2026)
10 week courses (termly) No lesson on 4th and 25th May
6.30pm - 7.30pm Level 1 for complete beginners (GENKI Book 1 L1-L4)
7.40pm - 8.40pm Level 2 for people who have mastered Hiragana & Katakana (GENKI Book 1 L5-L8)
8.50pm - 9.50pm Level 3 for people who have mastered basic grammar (GENKI Book 1 L9-L12)

Please note: Fees are not refundable and cannot be carried forward to another course, unless a lesson is cancelled by the organiser. There is a small possibility that the dates could be changed at short notice because of unpredicted events.
